Cheap & Easy Sparkles

I feel that it’s my duty to spread the word of the amazingness that is Sally Hansen nail polish strips. I’m a sucker for anything solid glitter, so when I spotted these strips in the nail polish section at Target for only $8, I had to give them a try.

In addition to being kick-ass sparkly and cheap (read: Ke$ha), they only took about 10 minutes to put on, and no drying time needed. I did have to cut some of the strips to fit my nail beds better, but for 8 bucks, I couldn’t complain!

The package claims that they last up to 10 days, but I see some evidence of chipping already. I’m pretty hard on my nails—I’ve even managed to beat up a much more expensive gel manicure within a of couple days.

Right now I have on ‘Glitz Blitz’, which is perfect for the Christmas season, and I’m thinking ‘Raise Your Glass’, a glitzy champagne color, will be just right for New Years Eve.
