I was at the mall this weekend (shocker, I know) and I couldn’t believe my eyes when I walked into J. Crew and saw that GORGEOUS silk top that I blogged about Drew Barrymore wearing on Leno last week. And on the SALE RACK, of all places! Of course, I had to have it.

But then I checked the price tag, and it still was $119. I mean, I’m all for a bargain, but this was most certainly NOT one. I am definitely not the kind of girl that drops over $100 on a TOP, unless I plan to wear it every day—and let’s be honest, this is not the kind of top you could get away with wearing every day. So I did try it on, and took an absurd amount of pictures, but I had to leave it behind.

Sad days, my friends, sad days.

At least the pretty pattern makes for a super cool background on my iPhone.
